Q: Why do I have to pay for each premium level?

You don't: the one in-app-purchase unlocks ALL premium levels.

Q: Why is there no save option? I don't want to lose progress when quiting a level in progress.

Since v1.7 there is multi tasking support. The game will be paused in the background, as long as your device has enough free memory. In theory, the game progress could still get lost if you start up a lot of big apps after you stopped the game.

You can cheat by watching the spoiler videos. With a level in progress, go back to the menu, and tap on SPOILER. An internet connection is required.

Q: When do we get new levels?
|
The first 6 updates spanned 5 months or so, and each update brought one or more new levels. To help me make these updates, please support me by keeping the game popular. You can write an itunes review, blog about the game, send a tweet, or tell your friends about it on facebook. As long as there is a viable user base, I want to keep making new content.

Q: Will you add a digger?
|
A digger makes only sense if there is deformable terrain and soil. Simulating soil is extremely hard. But I am on it.

Q: Why the ugly 3D graphics?
|
The 3D graphics may seem ugly because they are very simple. The simplicity of the graphics is actually a feature, not a bug! The game uses a very sophisticated physics system, which I call WYSIWYC or What-You-See-Is-What-You-Collide. The collision models need to be simple to have a fast and convincing simulation. The visible shapes closely match these simple physical shapes.

Q: I bought a new device, do I have to buy the levels again?
|
No, you can get the premium levels on any device you own, as long as you use the same itunes account. Just tap the 'RESTORE' button. Note that Apple will never charge you twice for the same product, so even if you tapped the 'BUY' button instead, there is no harm done: you will get the premium levels free of charge.

Q: How do I turn of that penetrating techno beat?

As of version 1.9, the music setting, along with the other settings, are accessed via the iOS home screen's Settings app.
