Bram's Motorcycle

Update: My beloved SV1000SZ with license MN-LZ-73 and framenr JS1BX412100100172 was stolen in October 2005. May the thief crash it and be maimed for live. I've offered a total of 3000 euros of reward. 1K for the return of the bike, and 2K for the apprehension of the low-life that stole my bike.

In my early twenties, I bought my first motorcycle, a Suzuki GS550e. It had little power and poor handling, but it was all I could afford. Years later, I could upgrade to a GS750 from 1977, which is considered to be a true oldtimer according to Dutch law (exempt from road-tax), and at 1750 guilders (800 euros) a real steal.

In 2005, I dumped my GS at the local junkyard, and upgraded to a brand new Suzuki SV1000SZ. This is a very special SV1000 with full fairing, and in Suzuki colours.

According to its designer, it should be available in 2006, for less than 8000 euros.
